Life Before TJ:
I student taught here with Mr. Coleman in the spring of '95. This is my 18th year at TJ. I've had just about every kind of restaurant job you could think of, did grunt work on construction sites for a summer, painted houses, etc, worked at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in costume, translated, interpreted, tutored at CU-Denver, taught ESL to immigrants, and was a tour guide for exchange students with Spring International. While in Europe I worked for an African Art gallery in Barcelona and Brussels. I've traveled, lived, worked and played in over 35 countries on five continents. Since starting at TJ I've led 8 student trips to France. I have facilitated summer exchange programs the last three summers here in Denver. Over the past several years I've been working with the DPS World Language Curriculum and Assessment Team.
